Sent to this earthly sod
For a predestined time and
Given a new, terrestrial bod’
To us, a gift, God did lend.

Created to serve the Savior,
Loving, helping the hospitalized,
Giving a Bible verse or
Praying with the de-spiritualized.

A woman who feared the LORD,
And greatly to be praised,
Always in His Holy Word.
Three children she raised.

Married to her husband Ed,
Whom she greatly loved.
Her grandkids she spiritually fed.
Great friend and much beloved.

Taken from this earth
And her terrestrial, weary bod’
Eighty years after birth
To live forever with her God.

On earth: Sister, Wife, Mom, Grandmother, Friend, Servant of the Living God
Now: Praising her Savior Jesus Christ for all eternity.
